I love reading Mr. Salaam's books. He is entertaining, real, and keeps me thoroughly engaged. I feel like I'm actually a character in the story! I'm off to purchase and read part 2!

The writing was decent, plot was interesting, I only wish the characters of Dre and Ra were more developed.....some areas were a let down, especially how Cee-le was handled...
pretty interesting for the most part
I completed this book in one day....I was reading during all my breaks I had to know what was going to happen....please read it you won't be disappointed.

I loved this gangsta romance it was funny too see how dre was acting like she didn't like the things ra did but she did make some stupid decisions that effected all of them especially ra!
I would have given this 4 stars but it was like I was reading the original handwritten copy. Things were crossed out & corrected. Otherwise the story was really good. Ra & Dre fought their feelings the entire time. They are in love & need to just go on & be together except, Dre can't be 'girly'. She likes females as much as Ra but, she also likes Ra. She's a little confused.
